Held in Talbot County, the town of Easton, and surrounding communities over a ten-day period each July, this festival provides artists with a unique opportunity to capture the scenic beauty and vibrant atmosphere of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. This year’s Avalon Holiday Show will be Elf the Musical! Show dates are set for December 7 – 10 and 14 – 17.
Stage Fright is a Halloween production that offers attendees a spooky, immersive theatre experience. This promenade production takes place throughout the building, far beyond the edge of the stage. With spine-tingling props, dramatic period costumes, and a non-linear story, Stage Fright is a one-of-a-kind experience that will bewitch your Halloween.
Beyond these annual productions and our Children's Theatre Productions, the Avalon also books touring theatrical performances and works with other theatre troupes to bring outside productions to our stage.
The Easton Farmers Market is a vibrant and bustling celebration of local agriculture, culinary delights, and small businesses. Farmers from around the Eastern Shore showcase and sell their bountiful harvests of fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers, locally-sourced meats, seafood, dairy products, and artisanal cheeses. Beyond the farm-fresh produce, the market is a hub for local artisans, bakers, entrepreneurs and culinary entrepreneurs who provide bread, pastries, honey, jams, craft beverages and other delectable treats.

Mid-Shore Community Television (MCTV) is a community-based television station dedicated to providing local programming and giving a voice to the residents of Talbot County. The primary goal of Mid-Shore Community Television is to promote community engagement, education, and entertainment by producing and broadcasting a wide range of programming that reflects the interests and needs of the local residents. Every summer, the Avalon Foundation organizes a free outdoor concert series on Harrison Street between Dover and Goldsborough.
