What is it? MCTV’s “The Interns” program is a competitive, unpaid summer internship program for middle and high school students who are interested in video production, theatre arts, writing, graphic editing, and/or journalism. The program is designed to provide basic instruction and hands on experience with production techniques, equipment, and working in a dynamic group environment.
The Avalon Foundation's Underground Actors is looking for a qualified, eager, and talented individual to direct our summer play! Founded in 2012, The Underground Actors have presented an annual play that has showcased our local young talent. Last year's production of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" was well received and we hope to continue to provide a venue for the theatre arts for the youth of our community.

Classic Albums live is preforming Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” at the Avalon Theatre February 13th at 8 p.m. This is a note for note, cut for cut production. I’ve had the opportunity to experience Classic Albums live in the past with another production. The quality and musicianship is visually & sonically amazing. I was doing some research about and on the show and, have found an abundance of interesting information I would like to share.
Ms. JoAnn Kulesza, the current Chair and Music Director of the Opera Department at the Peabody Conservatory, JHU, in Baltimore will be doing an opera pre talk before Otello on Saturday October 17th. If all goes well, she will return in the spring. These will be FREE, will take place in the Stoltz Listening Room, and will start an hour before doors.
A local family really loves the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. They laugh at thier British wit and have a deep respect for the musician's talent. The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain was founded 30 years ago.
