Local jazz musician Julie Parsons has performed across the world in dozens of countries and countless venues ranging from concert halls to living rooms—bringing music and fun to the party wherever she goes. Her original music, called “sassy and sensual” by the Washington Post, has won multiple awards, including the Washington Area Music Association (WAMMIES) and the New York Pro Am Song Contest.

But most importantly for Julie it’s the musical connection she shares with audiences that makes it all worthwhile. Joining in her passion for jazz in this concert are Chris Levey, bass; Ken Schliefer drums; Pete Chauvette, vibraphone; and guest vocalists Carolyn Cutler, Darrell Parsons and Kat Parsons.
